Fr. Bryan Jones R.I.P.

A Requiem Mass for Fr. Bryan Jones, was celebrated on Wednesday 8 April 2020 in the absence of an assembly. You can follow the Mass, which was live streamed, HERE

Fr. Antonio Ritaccio was the celebrant. The Mass took place at the same time that his funeral and burial took place by Bishop Nicholas Hudson. Because of the Social Distancing Rules in place only ten members of his Neocatechumenal community from the Guardian Angel's Church in Mile End were able to attend.

For this reason the live-streaming of a Requiem Mass at the same time as the funeral allowed his family and community to unite in prayer for Fr. Bryan.

Fr. Antonio who celebrated the Mass said:

"Fr. Bryan was a faithful priest who was passionate about distributing Holy Communion and celebrating the Mass. He shall be missed. But we continue to pray for the Eternal rest of his Soul, and we hope to see him again"

"Jesus said: ‘I am the resurrection and the life. If anyone believes in me, even though he dies he will live, and whoever lives and believes in me will never die."

Let us pray: Heavenly Father we commend to you the Soul of our brother Bryan Jones. Forgive any sins he may have committed and bring him to your Heavenly Table, through Christ Our Lord. Amen

Eternal rest be given them lord and let the perpetual light shine upon him, may his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace. Amen.
